2018 Bridge Holidays

♠ 16 to 23 January – Tasmania Bridge Holiday
This holiday features five nights at the waterfront Henry Jones Art Hotel in Hobart and two nights at Stewarts Bay Lodge on the Tasman Peninsula. Highlights include a cruise to visit the exciting MONA, a gourmet day trip to Bruny Island and a tour of historic Port Arthur. There is a comprehensive bridge program with lessons and duplicates to complement the tour program.

♥ 9 to 25 April – Spice Islands Bridge Cruise
We join the luxury Seabourn Sojourn in Darwin to sail to the remote Spice Islands of Bandaneira, Ambon and Ternate. Our cruise continues to Palawan to see the Puerto Princesa Underground River, one of the world’s New Seven Wonders of Nature; Coron with its dramatic karst cliffs; and famous Boracay Island with its white-sand beach. Our final port is exciting Hong Kong.

♦ 30 April to 6 May – Noosa Bridge Holiday
This is always our most popular bridge holiday and rightly so with an exciting bridge program, gourmet food and a luxury hotel. The Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort is wonderfully positioned with the Noosa River on one side and the beach on beautiful Laguna Bay on the other side. Just outside the door in cosmopolitan Hastings Street you will find excellent restaurants, galleries and boutiques.

♣ 26 to 29 June – Bannisters Bridge Holiday
Bannisters by the Sea at Mollymook is the ideal location for a bridge holiday with its glorious views, stylish rooms, trendy café and lounge bar, stunning infinity pool, luxurious spa and, of course, Rick Stein at Bannisters restaurant featuring the best South Coast seafood. It is a short drive to Ulladulla with its picturesque boat harbour and to historic Milton with its cafés, galleries and boutiques.

♠ 9 to 16 July – Port Douglas Bridge Holiday
We return to tropical Port Douglas with its galleries, boutiques and restaurants for a fabulous week at the luxurious Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort. The hotel is situated on 130 hectares of tropical gardens beside Four Mile Beach. The holiday includes a final-evening rainforest dining experience at the renowned Nautilus Restaurant.

♥ 16 August to 1 September – Sri Lanka Bridge Tour
Few places in the world offer such a remarkable combination of scenic beauty, historical sites and wildlife experiences within such a small area as Sri Lanka. This luxury small-group tour takes you to World-Heritage-listed ruins of ancient cities and fortresses, lush tea plantations, colonial forts, fragrant spice gardens, pristine tropical beaches and national parks with herds of wild elephants.

♦ 18 to 21 September – Port Stephens Bridge Holiday
Just a few hours drive north of Sydney, beautiful Port Stephens has sparkling waterways and glorious beaches set around national parks. We stay at the Anchorage, wonderfully positioned right on the waterfront at Corlette, and looking terrific with newly decorated rooms in coastal Hamptons style. The bridge room overlooks the hotel’s marina where dolphins often gather.

♣ 23 to 31 October – Margaret River and Rottnest Island Bridge Holiday
The holiday commences with five nights at Cape Lodge in Margaret River, a five-star boutique hotel set on one hundred hectares of parkland, vineyards, gardens and lakes. The hotel is renowned for its impeccable service and superb restaurant. We then have three nights at the Hotel Rottnest on beautiful Rottnest Island. The holiday includes all meals, tours and a comprehensive bridge program.

♠ 13 to 16 November – Blue Mountains Bridge Holiday
Lilianfels is an elegant European-style country hotel perfectly situated by the Three Sisters and set on two hectares of beautiful English gardens. The hotel’s wonderful facilities include stunning indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, a luxurious spa and beautiful bedrooms. The holiday features dinners at three superb restaurants, including the one-hat Darley’s Restaurant.
